We were deeply Saddened by Brendans Passing. He was such a delightful man in so many ways,and of course ye were a unique couple. Will cherish all the nights we had in Catty Neds with you both and esp nights when Brendan gave in and Song his favourite song. I can see him now on the high chair with his elbow on the bar..singing every word with great heart. Ann loved giving ye a lift to the merchant in Dublin in days gone by. The cruise we went with ye was special...and he treated us like Royalty.Was touching to meet his sisters at the Removal....watched funeral on webcam....Paddy and Hughie gave him a beautiful tribute with song and Music.
Rest peacefully Brendan you were a mighty man...lets hope theres a bit of music and Craic up there.

Many years have passed since I first met you, Brendan and your many music friends - the 'Meath Contingent' - at Féile Chois Cuain. It was aways reassuring to see you all on our annual visits to Louisbourg, and to have the chat about the music, singing and dancing we all love so much.
