Brendan was a fantastic character with great generosity and nature.
I still remember him vividly as our extremely enthusiastic & dedicated Sylane Hurling Minor manager back in 1988 when we were delighted to win the county "C" title in Athenry.

His smile lit up the dressingroom afterwards.
It was a fantastic day and memories I hold dear.

We are deeply saddened to hear about Brendan's passing.As our landlord, Brenda's was much more than just that to us;he was a kind-hearted real gentleman who went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at home in Tuam.His generosity and the support he offered us have been invaluable, and he truly made Tuam feel like our community. His kindness will always be remembered and cherished. We never forgot his humour and laughter,great personality, we clearly remembered he enjoyed drinking the Chinese Maotai(spirits)we got for him as Christmas present!
