I was very shocked & saddened to hear of the recent "Passing" of Brendan.I spent A week in Sligo Hospital in the Oncology unit recently & got to know Brendan. He was full of fun even though he was suffering a lot. To his Wife Allie & his lovely family & Dad I wish to express my sincerest Condolences. May his gentle Soul R.I.P.

Sincere sympathies to the McGloin Family and in particular Caelagh, who I had the pleasure of coaching for a time, on your Dad Brendan's passing at such a young age. My own family and I had many conversations with him, in late February, in the family room of the Oncology unit in Sligo Hospital as we dealt with my own fathers final days. Always friendly and engaging, even when the reality of what was ahead of him was hanging heavily in the air. May you find strength in the knowledge that his bravery made a deep impression on us all. In time, the sorrow you are feeling now will be replaced by happy memories.

Sincere sympathies on Brendan's passing. I was lucky to have him as a stone carving tutor at a stone festival and will fondly remember the fun with him. His talent was immense. RIP

I remember being 13 and surfing the Peak for the first time and he made sure I got a fair share of waves. A true legend of Bundoran surfing and he'll be hugely missed.

It is very sad news to hear of the passing if Brendan. My deepest condolences to his wife & children, his mother and father, Geraldine and all his other siblings. His work is known both at home and as far away as Portland Oregan where friends there attended the installation of his High Cross. Each and every artwork around the place will be a reminder of his amazing skill and work ethic. May he rest in peace.
