Helen, I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Brendan’s passing. I worked with him in Bank of Ireland. May he rest in peace
My condolences to you Helen & Family. The news of Brendan's passing is so very sad.
In the early 70s we worked together in Cabinteely. Brendan collected & dropped me at Kimmage crossroads for the 8 o'clock shifts and looked out for me like a brother. Helen, you & Brendan were going out at that time & he sometimes collected you on the way home. Great memories of happy times. We met over the years at quizes & Tesco & always had a laugh and a few words.
He was a decent, gentle & cheerful person and I know you will miss him very much. One of life's good people. Rest in peace Brendan.

Brendan was a gentleman who treated everyone he met with equal respect and consideration .His overriding philosophy of life was to do right by everybody, and at work, everything to be done right. During trying times, he was the one who stood up and spoke on our behalf, relying only on a nice suit and a ready smile to fend off any detractors or opposition.
He was a man of singular integrity, an Eiffel Tower standing straight amidst the chaos.
A guiding light has been taken from us.
My condolences to Helen, Stephen, and Killian.
