I greatly enjoyed the opportunities to chat and learn from him and hear stories from the time when his father and my grandfather, Jim, served together.

Brendan was highly regarded as a most professional senior garda officer by all who dealt with him and well read on an array of topics.

But most of all, he was an extremely warm and humorous man. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis!

I’m so shocked to hear of dear Brendan’s death. I met him recently in the village & he was in his usual good form. A devoted husband & father, he’ll be so sadly missed.
