So sad to hear of Brendan’s passing. I first got to know Brendan at ESB Ardnacrusha many years ago and afterwards in Stritches in Clonlara and then the Roundhill. Brendan loved dancing and having fun he was an absolute gent and it has been a privilege to have known him for so many years. Growing up in Ardnacrusha, we had Brendan. I remember him in his pram, in the kitchen with his Mam, and all up through the years.
You'd meet him on his bike, and he'd stop for the chat......we always had Brendan in Ardnacrusha.
My brother Tom RIP, in particular spoke often, and so very fondly about Brendan, when we chatted about our childhood in Ardnacrusha. Everyone loved Brendan!

He was a kind hearted, gentle man. He always met you with a big smile, which was contagious, he lifted your heart. He was wise, thoughtful, and always good humoured. Rest in peace Brendan, you leave us all sad, but with beautiful memories.
