Just heard today by text of Brendan’s death. Maeve, I am so sorry to hear of the very sad news. My condolences to you, the girls and Brennan’s Mam and all relatives and friends. I got to know Brendan very shortly after arriving in Ballina through the Munster Rugby circle. What a gentleman! All I can say is try and focus in on the good times and good memories. I was so upset to hear the news of Brendan’s illness and his death. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him in Guinness. I have particularly fond and funny memories of the Ballinasloe Trade Fair, The Limerick Food Festival, amongst others. Great fun, a sense of divilment, matched with integrity, kindness and human connection. The world will miss him. My thoughts are with you all.
