Inagh, I was sad to hear that Brendan had passed away. I had only known him a very short time through the sport of bowls which he was very good at and enjoyed. He was a gentleman and great at telling a story. I enjoyed his company. I remember coming back from the Canary Island before Christmas and the wait at the airport was greatly shortened by Brendans conversation. I can't believe that he is no longer with us. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May he rest in peace
To the Sheridan family thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Brendan was a gentleman in every way until it came to his football that is, thankfully we supported the same team and we had many a conversation about Manchester United over the years and if he didn't like what was going on we all knew about it. Often we would mute the tv just to listen to him shouting at his one because we would be loosing or he didn't agree with a decision and through the concrete walls he had us in fits laughing. He was so good natured always in good form and no matter what always had time for a chat which 9 times out of 10 was to give me stick over something or other but always joking and up for a laugh.
We moved next door in 1991 and from day one we knew we had good neighbours which turned into fantastic friendships. Sleep well Brendan you will be sorely and sadly missed by everyone RIP xxxx
