Brian Anderson

I'm deeply shocked and saddened by the news of Brian's passing. An absolute gentleman with bags of talent both on and off the track. I was lucky enough to meet Brian more than 20 years ago at a training day in tinker hill. His love for his sport was huge only parralled by his unbelievable talent as an artist. I'm lucky to have some precious drawings that he done for Jenny and myself after a difficult time in our lives. Deepest sympathies to Brian's family, may he rest peacefully.

Still hard to believe you are gone Brian. Was always delighted when I’d pull into a track and see the Chariot. You always had time for a chat and had such a love for the sport. We have one of your drawings in our kitchen and everytime I see it I’m reminded of you. You were a true gentleman and I consider myself lucky to have known you. Thanks for touching all our lives. I still cant believe this has happened mate. We got to know each other at the track all those years ago when me and my dad started off in the sport like you with a car and trailer. We reconnected this year when the MX scene got back on track. We caught up at the Ricky Carmichael event at CCM a few weeks ago. Chats and a few laughs as always. Each event (Southern Masters) this year we had the chats and were practicing in the same place until the day this happened. I spoke to you after the accident, took your boots off and helped pack the bike / car because i know as racers we want our stuff looked after. Never did i think this would be the outcome. I cant believe that you're gone. You were a gent and a great rider. I always looked out for you in the paddock or on track. A skillful MX Rider, a great artist and a lovely person. You will be missed. RIP #129

Brian was such a great friend for so many years and I'm so glad to have been able to spend so much time with him on nights out, at the gym and on the pitch at tag rugby. It didn't matter where Brian was, he made friends everywhere he went as he was such a friendly and genuinely nice guy.
