My condolences to Catherine and all of Brians family. I got to know Brian extremely well over the last 5 or 6 years and held huge respect for him. He will no doubt be sorely missed by his loyal staff over many successful businesses. Rest easy Brian.

I was very sad to hear of Brian's untimely passing. Brian was one of life's characters and would never pass you on the street. He always had time for a chat and a laugh. I've just seen about the passing of Brian. What a gentleman, always made time for a chat. Really shocked at his passing. First met him many moons ago when he was renovating Donaghy's bar on Trinity street. Very honest and genuine person. May you Rest In Peace...

Vinny.. I'm shocked and saddened to hear of Brian's passing! The man had too much energy for one person - Whether it was work, family, friends or the numerous projects he led or was involved in, he gave its all!

He was a great flag waver for Finglas, no more so when he became it's Lord Mayor.. his Renault 18 car adorned with election posters!The great times in The Drake with him and Vinny and the Superquinn Finglas crew during Italia 90!

When he openen his first pub in Drogheda I worked the bar a few times for him even though l had zero experience!

To his family my sincere condolences, Finglas and latterly Drogheda have lost a friend, and a man who just got sh&t done!

I have great memories of Brian growing up with the Summer Project in the 70s in Finglas. He was a very kind, caring charasmatic person, so sorry to hear he passed, may he rest in peace, the good always go too soon and he was one of the good guys, RIP Brian

I am so sad to hear of Brians passing, its the end of an era! Brian was larger than life, had a huge heart and shone brightly. The world is a much dimmer place without him in it, but how lucky we all were for having the privilege of knowing him. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Catherine, her children, Brian's children, family and close friends. You did him proud at his send off this morning.

I was a tenant of Brian's for a good number of years in Fair Street and only left very recently. During that time I got to know him well and grew very fond of him. It probably helped that he was a fellow Dub! We got each other.

Lively, gregarious, an action man who lived and thrived in the moment, spirited but very fair is how I will remember him. The beautiful flower boxes he put in were a real winner with clients!

What struck me most though about Brian were the relationships in his life. He was a very open person and exuded love for Catherine and his children. He was also a very loyal person and he got loyalty back in spades from those working with him. I think especially of Elaine, George, Marty and all the rest who worked with him.

My deepest condolences to you Catherine, to Brian's children, Laura and Lukas, to Catherine's children, Benjamin, Hannah and Sophie and the extended Browning family. Thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time.
