Condolences to the Byrne family on Brian's passing . Brian will be remembered for his warm greetings and welcoming embraces. He will also be remembered by old and young, at home and abroad, in the wide circle of traditional Irish musicians. So long Brian, till we meet again.
Nell
Sincere condolences - what a nice man Brian was. May he Rest in Peace.
Boss, friend, fellow musician.. Brian taught me sooo much that will stay with me always! The whole world could go mad, he'd just peer over his spectacles and mutter: "Now, what is it.." 5 seconds later everyone was calm- Because of the way he was. Such a character! So much quiet authority, wit, mischief and sense of humour at the same time.
I shall play Lark in the morning every time I get upset always, like he taught me.
My heart goes out to his family at this time, my sincerest condolences to you and much love.
