Margaret you have my deepest condolences in your sad loss. I so remember Brian’s kindness and encouragement at our efforts, many years ago and your dispensing welcome cups of coffee. Classes were such a joy and delight, until tackling the stairs in Baggot St. became too difficult. May angels sing him to his rest.
Margaret, I am very sorry to hear you have lost your beloved Brian. I have such good memories of the classes in Pearse Street and Brian's attempts to teach me to paint. He was such a talented man. Many of us were proud of the paintings we thought we created but it was really Brian's input that saved them. He was happy there in his studio doing what he loved. He even seemed to enjoy making us tea. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Rest in peace Uncle Brian. Love to Margaret and all the family.

Margaret, i was so sorry to hear about Brians death. He was a wonderful art teacher and spoke so lovingly of you. My thoughts are with you at this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.
Margaret - I am so sad to hear that the wonderful Brian has passed away. He was a talented painter and a great teacher, developing not just a community of students but indeed a community amongst the students for whom the classes were an important social interaction. Brian was passionate about helping us be the best we could be and had a great quirky sense of humour whilst not suffering fools gladly. It was a privilege to have known him and to have been taught by him. He always spoke so lovingly of you and I am sure you miss him greatly. My thoughts are with you at this time. Doris

So sorry to hear of Brian’s passing and so sad for your loss Margaret.
I feel lucky to have been one of his students and so fortunate to have had such enjoyable Friday morning art sessions. Often there was just as much chatting and laughing with him, as there was painting. Lovely happy memories to be treasured.
May he rest in peace.
