Brian DAVIDSON

Dear Sally, Hope and all of Brian's family, I was so sorry to hear of his passing. It was a joy and a privilege to have known Brian and to have spent time skiing with him. His ski career had the occasional bump along the way and Brian set very high standards for himself but it was wonderful to see those significant moments of enjoyment he got out of skiing when things were going well. He was something of a minor celebrity in his favourite Serre Chevalier haunts and he will be fondly remembered by lift operators, ski instructors and bar staff! He was always interested in how I was, how my family was, and I will treasure our many interesting and often very funny conversations on everything from ski technique to the theory of gravity. I considered him a good friend and will miss him greatly. Rest in peace Brian and my deepest sympathy to Sally, Hope and the whole family.

I only met him once, but spent a wonderful afternoon as he graciously showed me around his estate. Such a gentle, sweet man. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was very sorry to learn of Brian’s passing. I have fond memories of working in Letterkenny as a junior doctor with Brian patiently taking me through surgical procedures. A real gentleman, great company and a kind soul. Thoughts and prayers with sally and the whole family at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear this, condolences to all the family. Mr Davidson was my obstetrician at LUH for the birth of my children. I found him to be professional and so witty at the same time. For a young mum he put me at ease straight away and I felt safe under his care. Thank you Mr Davidson, may your gentle soul rest in peace.
