Very sad to learn of Brian’s passing and sincere condolences to David, Colm, Paul, Briany, Daragh, Garrett and all the members of the extended Doyle family. Brian had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the Howth peninsula and was a powerful voice for the fishing community and people of Howth. Dear David, Colm, Paul Dara, Briany, and Garrett, so sorry to hear of Uncle Brian's Passing, We have great memories of all of us on Irelands eye with your Dad , Brian would have a Bar B Q on the Beach with Our Mam Betty and your Mom Marie . Pop would pull into the Island in the little flower and we would have the food ready for him Great Summers and great memories we all grew up together, but Your Dad is in a happier place with Your Mam , May he Rest in peace ❤️🙏

Shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Brain. A true Howth man. When he gave up fishing Brian threw his energies into beconing a community activist for the Howth community. I worked as a journalist at the time and any story Brian gave me on what was happening around Howth I was always able to use because he the score. I also kow he loved everyone of his kids equally although he may have a few rows with some them, he loved them. My sincere condolences to Colm, Brainy. David and Garrett. I know I'm leaving out one or maybe two but my codolences to all the Doylre family. I hope he's up there in the great ocean above doing what he loved best - fishing x.

Vivid memories in the 80’s waiting on the pier for the kiloran fishing boat with Captain Brian and sons to land the catch. Brian was a great fisherman and alway had a big catch. He was always a total gentleman to me. Rest in peace Brian

My sincere condolence to the Doyle Family, I have very fond memories of Brian, who loved to chat and tell stories about Howth, village life in a fishing community. He fought hard in the EU for Fishing rights and achieved an awful lot. He dearly loved his boys and was so proud of them. May you now RIP
