I took a little time to reflect. My fond memories include:
A handwritten letter I received from you at a difficult time we shared;
The best G&T I’ve ever had in your company in lands afar;
Your warm engaging smile.

‘Requiescat in pace’ my friend.
Dear Maire-Anne and siblings, I am saddened to learn of your Dad's passing and send you much love and deep sympathy for your loss. May God bless and keep him until you all meet with him again. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

Warmest Hugs,

Laurie
I was very sorry to hear of Brian's passing. I had the pleasure of working alongside Brian many years ago and he was one of life's true gentleman. My sincerest condolences to all of Brian's family.
Very sad to learn of Brian’s passing. He played a very valuable and much appreciated support role to the Partners and staff of Chapman Flood Chartered Accountants in its formative years as a successful adviser to Owner Managed and Emerging Irish businesses.
When I joined An Bord Bainne in 1963, Brian took me under his wing and mentored me until I found my feet. Brian was always witty, jovial and warm. Meeting him brought a smile to my face. I’m so glad that I went to visit him in Mount Merrion last year: he and Máire-Anne made me welcome, and Brian and I laughed ourselves silly about memories from the distant past. What a loveable man. Peter Kelly
Deepest sympathy to Brian's children, his brother Aidan and all his family. Brian's contribution to the Dublin International Piano Competition was substantial and generous. May he rest in peace.
A truly lovely man who I had the pleasure of working with in IDA Ireland and Enterprise Ireland. Rest in peace Brian.
My deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of your lovely Dad. He was truly one of life's gentlemen. He was always in good form and had the most beautiful smile and a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Thinking of you Sue and Maire-Anne, Conor and Rory. It was a privilege to have worked with him in IDA and Enterprise Ireland. Sue Fanning, Enterprise Ireland.
