I am deeply sorry to hear about the loss of Brian Duffy. He was a good friend of our mission and grateful to him for his support for the mission work in Tanzania, Africa. Will offer a holy mass for him here for his soul.
My heart goes out to his family during this difficult time. May God's infinite love and mercy bring them comfort and strength. I will keep him and the loved ones in my prayers, trusting that they are now at peace in God's embrace. I wish to extend my sympathy to the Duffy family on the death of Brian. I first met Brian at an interview for a taxation position in Reynolds McCarron in Galway. I subsequently worked with him for eleven years.He was always a gentle man, full of knowledge that he was always willing to share, a great Dub supporter as well as being an all round sporting fan. He will be greatly missed by all who had contact with him.

I was with Brian in St. Vincent’s, Glasnevin for five years until we graduated in 1966. He was a good class-mate. The traits mentioned about him in later life were equally evident during those years.

Brian, Pat Gillen (Athlone RIP) and I started together in the Galway office and shared a house together quite a time ago. Brian & I worked together until his retirement.
We had so many wonderful memories & fun stories to share with anyone who would listen.
