Rip to Mr Farrell and condolences to his loved ones. He was my politics lecturer in Ucd when I was a student 1992-95 and was always very kind and a great teacher. Often he would stop at the 10 bus stop going into town and offer students waiting a lift! I have very fond memories of his, a great man.

To Naomi,
I'm so very sorry to read of your dad's death. You will have to cast your mind back a long way to remember me. We worked together as student nurses in St. Charles Ward in SVH in the seventies. You were in first year and I was in third and we were on night duty together.
My deepest sympathies to you and your family at this very sad time.
Regards,
Julie
My sincere sympathies to the Farrell family. Brian was a most approachable person and a great lecturer. Even though he was incredibly busy he really put the students first, something I am grateful for over 3 decades later. RIP.
My deepest sympathy to all the family. I have many fond memories of Brian's lectures that I never missed whilst a mature student in UCD from 1983-86. I learned so much and still owe my love of Irish politics to him! He was a very kind man and so supportive mature students. He was an inspiring figure for me and in my view Irish broadcasting has been the poorer since he left current affairs broadcasting. May he rest in peace.
Our deepest sympathy to Brian's wife Marie Theresa and Family. Happy memories of our father R.I.P. when we all as a family had to remain silent when 7 Days programme was on T.V. R.I.P.
A decent man that represented the Ireland we all yearn to belong to. Our sincere sympathy and heartfelt thoughts to his family at this time.
Deepest sympathies and condolences to Mrs. Farrell, Naomi, Miriam and all the Farrell family. I have some very fond memories of Mr. Farrell when I would visit Naomi.
I will keep you all in my prayers and thoughts.
