Dear Brian Jnr. deepest sympathy to the Farrelly family on the passing of your beloved father and husband Brian Snr. You gave Brian a lovely send off with his funeral mass and it was a joy to hear all the stories about his life and how much he loved his family. Although he will be missed he leaves behind a wonderful legacy. Just as I am writing this a Robin Red Breast has appeared on our garden wall and I know it is your father's spirit. Thinking of you all at this sad time. Marie and Anne Campion, Dublin.
Dear Breda and Family,

My sincere sympathy to you all regarding Brian's passing. He was the kindest and most thoughtful man I have ever know. It was a joy and honor to have met him. I will treasure the memories of the times we spent together especially when I visited Ireland in the summer of 2019. Brian has been an inspiration to me personally. Thanks to him, us decedents of the Farrellys in America now know much more about our Irish ancestors and our heritage. I'm sure in heaven, he has met my dad, Maurice Kiely by now. Although distant cousins, they are so much alike. I'll bet they're having a laugh.
Sincere condolences to Bridie and the Farrelly family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal
Sincere sympathies to Jean, Barry, Doireann, Fionn and all the family on the sad passing of your lovely Dad, Father-in-law and Grandad. May he Rest in Peace.
Jean, Grace and Brian- your home was my second home growing up and your Dad was my second Dad. He taught me so much about life. Even last week he was still quizzing and joking and teaching. I loved him very much. And all of you and your Mom were part of that too. I only have the best of memories, full of love and warmth.
We all send our love.

Brian attended both my father and mothers funerals and very kindly wrote and read two of his very famous and beautiful pieces of poetry. Such a lovely gentleman and such a giving, caring and beautiful person. The world is a poorer place now without him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this incredibly sad time.

Dear Breda and all the family. I am sorry to hear of the death of Brian. Who could fail to see his great human kindness. I know, like sheila, how important his attention to Una was as well as other Farrellys of her generation. No trouble was too great for him on my and my children's many visits to her in recent years. He always had interesting information on such a variety of subjects, historical, linguistic or social. and so on. All this along with his obvious love of and devotion to you and all of your immediate family. Brian was such a Gentleman. We send sincere condolences and Love.

We shared a love and passion for the jigsaw that is our family origins, gathering up all the historic pieces and fitting them all together. Extremely upsetting news to hear about the passing of my uncle and namesake Brian Farrelly. A wonderful kind, gentle human being who had a great sense of humour and someone I looked up to as a role model for decency and temperance. Fond memories of spending time with Brian & Breda on our many family trips between England and Ireland. Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Breda, Brian, Jean and Grace and with all the extended family and his many friends. Brian paid us a surprise visit to my home in the UK a number of years ago, with his brother Adrian, where we spent the evening reminiscing – something we will cherish. Poignantly, it was the 12th June 2021 that my daughters son, and our 1st grandchild, “Roman” was Baptised. Rest in peace Brian.
Our sincere sympathy is extended to Breda, Grace, Jean, Brian and all the Farrelly and O'Brien families on the death of Brian. Sending my love Jean. As I take in the news of your Dad's passing I'm remembering all those evenings after school and weekends we spent at your house. Your Mom and Dad made me feel like it was my second home. I remember your Dad telling jokes, the tempo of his voice and the sound of his youthful laugh. The times when he was passionate about a topic, how deeply he felt and the conviction which he artfully communicated. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
