So shocked to hear of Brian's passing and send our condolences to Mary and family. The last time we met up with Brian and Mary was in Belfast a couple of years ago where we spent time catching up and having a laugh over dinner. So grateful to have been able to have this memory. Rest in Peace Brian.

We were so very shocked and saddened to hear of Brian’s untimely passing and our thoughts snd prayers go out to Mary and family. Having worked with Brian for many years and keeping in regular contact since we all left, Brian’s generosity of spirit and good humour was always present. We might have been on different sides when it came to most sports but nonetheless Brian was always there helping us when it came to searching out tickets for Croker. Rest in peace Brian, you will be truly missed.

I am so sad to hear of Brian's sudden passing. I have some great memories of him during the time I worked in Leixlip Amenities. He was a true gentleman & always treated us "annoying youngsters" with dignity.

Brian was a marvellous man and a much loved colleague. His four decades of outstanding service spanning Tayto, C&C Group and Britvic leave an overwhelmingly positive legacy. He kept in regular contact since retiring and many of us saw him often at Croker or in the Palace exuding life and love for his family, the business, the Dubs and Man Utd. We will miss him so very much. Deepest condolences to the Fitzmaurice family. Rest in peace Brian.

The volume and repetition in these notices is a compliment to Brian's consistency of character. Regardless of the situation or our position and personalities Brian was Brian. I had the pleasure to work with Brian and we kept in touch over the years since mostly by text between the occasional meeting. The dry wit of a one liner or a one word text from Brian always made me smile.
