Deepest condolences to all of Brian’s family - a true gentleman taken far too early- May he rest in peace
My sincere sympathies to Kitty, Martin, Fran and the wider Freeman family on the sad passing of Brian. We worked together in IVAX for many years and he was so well liked and respected by all. He had that ability to connect with everyone which he used to such great effect in his role as company chauffeur. He was the ultimate “front of house” to greet visitors at the airport and bring them to Waterford. When he started his own business in 2006, he became the chauffeur for EirGen Pharma, also starting at that time. Many the chats we had as he dropped FDA Inspectors or clients to the hotel and gave his astute answer to the usual question “well, what are they like?” An absolute gent, who could relate to everybody and a privilege to say I knew him. May he rest in peace. Patsy

My sincere condolences to Kitty, Gary, Martin and all the Freeman family. Working at Norton/IVAX/TEVA I had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Brian for many years. With frequent trips to and from airports we got to know each other and shared many chats on the topics of the day and of family news and stories. The epitome of a perfect gentleman, quiet, discreet, and dependable, he also had a great sense of humour. I will always remember and treasure our chats.
May he rest in peace.

Uncle Brian -
In Ferrybank's embrace, a spirit so bright,
Uncle Brian, a beacon, a source of pure light.
With brothers Fran, Martin, and sister Margaret near,
Memories of laughter will forever be clear.
Motorbikes roared, campervans set free,
Beneath the sun's warmth, wild and happy was he.
Forty-seven years with Kitty, a love so true,
A fun-loving dad, in all that he'd do.
His grandkids adored, a bond so true,
When space was scarce, he took the dog, too.
Nicknames he'd whisper, with a twinkle in his eye,
Sallow still echoes, as the moments fly.
Though dementia's shadows began to descend,
His love for his family knew no end.
Now with brother Jim, in heaven they meet,
In our hearts, his presence, forever complete.

Brian was a fantastic neighbour and person. The deepest of sympathies to Kitty & the Freeman family.
My sincere condolences to Kitty, Brian's family and friends. It was nearly 20 years ago when I first met Brian upon arriving in Dublin Airport. He whisked me down to Waterford, as much as the road at the time would allow, providing me valuable insights into the move I was planning to make to a new company (Teva) in a new country. What a fantastic ambassador he was from that very first meeting, and how comforting it then became being able to fully rely on Brian, when either departing for, or arriving back home from a long demanding trip abroad. He was an honourable and respectful person who through his dependability, quiet composure and mild humour helped relieve much of the pressure associated with my busy travel schedule. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere condolences to Kitty, Martin and all the Freeman family on the loss of Brian. I knew Brian for many years mainly through his work at Norton/IVAX/Teva. He was a parish man that had all the funny and insider stories. With a voice that was never raised, he could recount the goings on with that wry smile and wit that would have you laughing instantly. He worked for many years with us in many roles and in his final role as our main work chauffeur, I always loved the chats we had as he got me to and from airports. ‘ I’ll be at departures , 1 floor up , waiting for you’ he would text. And he always was. Dependability was the badge he wore everywhere. He charmed auditors and visitors alike when they arrived in Ireland which was such a tremendous help and every single one would mention ‘the lovely Brian’. I recall him getting the party going with a rendition of a Christy Moore song at one of our famous Christmas end of year parties. Great memories of a great man and a friend to so many. The tough last few years for this great man and friend are hard to understand. Like so many, he deserved better. Rest in peace now Brian.
