I was so very, very sad and sorry to learn of the passing of my very good friend Brian Galvin. It has been a pleasure to have known him for the last 50 years and my own life has been all the better and enriched as a result.
Over récent years I particularly looked forward to meeting him in the Bagel Bar in the Square where he reigned supreme on the most advantageous seat for watching the World go by, spotting his friends and summoning them over for a grilling or a chat.
Condolences to your family Brian who I know you loved and cherished and may the good lord grant you eternal rest, Amen.

My parents have many fond memories of your dad, loved there chats when seen him, such a gentleman.

He was a lovely man & never pass without a chat or hello.
