BRIAN GLEESON

Very sorry to hear of Brian's untimely death. We convey our sincere condolences to Eilis and children, his brother's Harry and Colm and sister Linda and extended family. Very shocked to hear this sad news when I met Harry briefly last evening 10th July. May he RIP.

The shock is no less for only having heard this weekend, as pubs including The Goat reopened. Little to add to all being said below. Sympathies to Eilis and the entire Gleeson family, so sorry for your troubles.

So sorry to hear about Brian’s death. I always enjoyed his company especially on a one to one basis. He will be missed greatly by his family and the great circle of friends that he had. Let us all cherish the fond memories we have of Brian.

Brian was an exceptional team player both on and off the field. Quick with a put-down or praise. An all-round decent human being who loved the craic and enjoyed life. We are lucky to have met him and so sad he left too early.

I was so sad to hear the news of Brian's passing. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.Brain was a gentleman and had a great sense of humour. Some of my happiest days in the Bank were spent working with Brian in Henry Street in the early eighties.

The service was a lovely tribute this am to Brian...one of the lovely men in life...he was part of good times and great friends in the happy world cup days of the 90's in the beloved Goat..

I am so sad to have seen the webcam of Brian's funeral, was in school with Brian in De La Salle, Churchtown. Leaving in 1976, a thorough Gentleman and one extremely nice guy.
