Brian GLYNN

To all the family,
My deepest sympathies on Brian’s passing. I sailed with him on Viking before family etc got in the way. I have such wonderful fond memories of him. He was such a kind fella with a glint in his eye for a bit of fun and had a great sense of humor. I am sure you will all miss him greatly.

Dear Breda & family, Sincere sympathy to all the family at this sad and difficult time. It was a lovely service online, a shame we couldn't be there in person. It was lovely to hear how his qualities come through in all the kids. We had great times during the Arup days with 'Rory' and Fiona got her first cruiser sailing experience on Duiske from the RstGYC. To Breda, Sheelagh and all the Glynn clan, I’m so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. I have very fond memories of him at 18 woodlands drive a friendly welcoming gentle man who took an interest in all of the endless stream of friends coming and going. May the good memories sustain you all.

Very sorry to hear of Rory's passing. He really was a kind and decent man. Only met him a few months back, his 90th birthday at an Arup gathering for retirees and staff. He was in fine spirits, razor sharp and in great health, it makes this all the more sad.

My memories of Brian go back a long way . He was a true gentleman, always gentle and obliging. As Ministers of the Eucharist we were often on the Rota together, particularly on Mondays. We were together for many of Fr Tony’s Masses on Mondays . We had many chats and I have previous memories of these past years and months.
