Shocked and saddened to hear the news of the passing of Brian, I worked with Brian for 4 years from 1981 to 1985 in Coopers & Lybrand in 70 Lower Baggot Street and I remember him well, he was an absolute gentleman and helped me a lot as I was only 18 and starting out on my working life as a Junior and obviously would of been a bit apprehensive and nervous but Brian put me at ease and always checked in on me, he had such a caring and mild mannered personality, he was a lovely man so friendly and always in great form, we had great banter and chats about football, I was a Leeds United fan and he was a Manchester United fan if I remember correctly, I remember him talking about his love for Tennis too, I left the company in 1985 so it would be 40 years since I last seen Brian but I never forgot him, my sincere condolences to the family of Brian, my thoughts are with you all.
