Rest in peace, Brian. I've only just found out, a month later. We grew up together, went to school together and lived opposite each other on O'Connell Avenue for many years. To say I'm in shock is an understatement. I just can't believe it. My sympathies go out to the whole Higgins family at this time

My deepest condolences & sympathies to Amanda & family & dogs. He's sorely missed every day in Fitzsimons for his quick wit, banter & laughs. Such a passionate barman that loved his trade, told great stories & loved the customers (especially the Americans who tipped). Our hearts are heavy but you'll always be remembered & never forgotten. Rest in peace buddy.

So very sorry to hear of Brian’s untimely passing. Deepest condolences to Brian's wife Amanda ,family and friends. I am not surprised to read what a great family man he was.
Also to his colleagues at Fitzsimons. He was one of the central figures there since the business opened in 1994 along with his close friend and buddy Rui.
Always competent, kind and perceptive in his dealings with people. And he had great sense of humour. A very nice guy to have known.
