Surprised, and very saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I had considerable contact with Brian through the years especially in the security schemes in which he championed in the early 1990's until his retirement from NSAI. I always found him to be fair, decent, and if he had an opinion he would let you know!
Decent all round guy who will be missed, by NSAI,EQA, and the PSA.
My condolences to his wife, Imelda, family and relatives at this time.
Although he is at rest now, he will never be forgotten by those that knew him well.

Brian was a good friend and colleague to me for the past 25 years, he was kind helpful and supportive, never said no to any request and was totally dependable and loyal.
