Dear Stephen & Family, I am so sorry that I cannot make it to the funeral today so show my respects as I had hoped to do. Brian was an absolute gent to work with from day 1 when I met him for the first time in 2001 in Irish Rail. He was always very helpful and modest despite being a very clever individual. Brian was also great craic to have the chats with over a pint and I was very fond of him throughout our career together. Please accept my deepest sympathies and I will light a candle in my front window tonight to remember Brian.
