My sincere condolences to Brian's family on his passing. Brian was a thorough gentleman. He was blessed with a wonderful disposition that endeared him to all of us who worked with him in Switzers as well as his many customers. He was kind, cheerful, polite and helpful, always in good humour and had a twinkle in his eye when telling one of his many stories. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with him. May he rest in peace.
Brian was a true gentleman and always had a smile. Even though I was many years his junior he always addressed me as Mr. Nolan.
My condolences to his family at this sad time.
My deepest sympathies to all of Brian's family.
I had the pleasure of working and playing golf with Brian in Switzer's. Golfing Society .
A true gentleman of the old school.
He loved sport and golf. Sometimes I would drop him home after a golf day out and always the next day a little gift and a thank you card would arrive at my desk.
He will be sadly missed and well remembered by all his pals.
What a lovely gentleman he was.
Even after I left Switzers
I would meet-up for a little chat and a drink with him every now and again. He was great guy with some great stories and a great outlook on life .
A privilege to have known
you Brian

My sympathy to all the family.Brian was so helpful to all at Sutton Golf Club and the ultimate gentleman.I will always remember the many conversations we had in the Pro shop especially about Ben Hogan and Joe Carr.
The most courteous of gentlemen and a friend to us all.
Being Tom's brother I was very privileged to know Brian for a very long time. He was a very gentle and generous soul, but was never afraid to voice his opinion when called upon.
He loved his golf and always astounded me with his memory of who won what and what year they won it. I have know doubt that he is up there now having a friendly fourball with three of his favorite players, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones and Sevy.
Brian, rest in peace, you are in great company up there.

His innate humility, grace, and courteous manner always made every encounter with him a pleasurable experience.
His deep interest in golf, and recollections of past champions, led to many interesting debates with me, and others.
