Dearest Mary, Brian, Rory and Eimear , I was so sorry to learn last night in Cork of the passing of your beloved Brian .
I have a very fond clear memory of walking around the Quad in UCC with Brian many years ago and he providing some great life advice. To this day I am not sure if he was serious or not !
He opened his home and gave us Cork strays a warm welcome and these along with his hard work ethic and devotion to his family will be my abiding memory of Brian .

May god and those friends and family gone before , welcome you home Mr Mcd.

I am forever grateful to Brian and Mary for my summer upbringing in Ballintoher. I have such fond memories of my time in Nenagh, and the horses and the matches, pony camps, shows, Youghalarra, testing, sand games in the school, and even picking ragweed in the pond field.
