I remember Brian when I was a child - he was a friend of my older sister Sue especially and my cousins (Glenmorgan) - all part of a great generation in 70's Thurles. Only fond memories or Brian, very saddened to hear of his death. Sending the best of wishes to his wife and loved ones. Kind regards.

The news of Brian's passing has only just reached us here in Nova Scotia. Sincerest condolences to Jackie, his extended family, friends and community. We know his loss will be deeply felt by many. Brian was truly special - smart, funny, talented, hard-working, community-minded, caring, and (as we observed during our last visit to Valentia in 2018) tremendously courageous. We hope it's of some comfort to those who were closest to him to know he'll live on in the hearts and minds of so many for years to come. It was a privilege and joy to have known him.
