Sincere sympathy to Kate, Nuala, Ann, Mary and Jodie on the sad passing of their brother Brian and sympathy also to the extended family and friends.
I was fortunate enough to have acted in a play which Brian directed back in 1984 and on which he left his inimitable stamp. There were plenty of laughs and lively exchanges during the weeks of rehearsal. Indeed it was on stage in Rathowen that I first remember seeing Brian - in a production of 'Professor Tim'.
Although I hadn't spoken to him much in later years, there was always a friendly wave or nod whenever we saw each other, usually on the way into Mass.
