Is ag snámh ar Oileán an Bhulla a chuir mé aithne ar Brian le tamaill de bhlianta beag anuas. I gcónaí cairdiúil, i nGaeilge amháin a thugtaí beannacht uaidh dom.
Duine lách ba ea é, agus é ag foghlaim focail nua ar nós smugairle rón, nó uisce súilíneach, b'in é an ceann ab'fearr leis. Bhíodh neart spraoi ina cuideachta. Is mór an cailliúint é.
Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal.
— Niall Mac Aindriú, Oileán an Bhulla
