Brians skills were always in thatching were always a pleasure to see, even to the point of tatch job done over @ gurteen, beside Martha mc donagh 🏡. Farewell Cousin Brian. You had a tough journey home to your creator. I was deeply saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. I know how much you all cared for him, and the love and care you gave during his final days was truly precious. It must have brought him and you all great strength comfort. Rest in peace, dear Brian.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy and condolences.

Brian’s warmth, kindness, and gentle presence will always be remembered with great fondness by all who knew him. His skills in thatching and many other crafts were remarkable, and he generously shared them with others. He helped me countless times, whether it was thatching a roof, constructing and taking down a beautiful marquee for my 60th birthday, or simply being there with his constant kindness. Thank you, Brian.

It is clear how deeply loved he was and still is, and how much he meant to all of you. This loss is immense.

To you, Gill — and to you, Esther and Shane, and your wonderful boys Hugo, Russell, and Toby — I am holding you close in my heart during this time. May the love and care that surrounded Brian in his final days bring you comfort, along with the many cherished memories you all have of him.

My deepest sympathy and love also go to Brian’s brothers and sisters, especially Steve, Cillian, Imelda, Andrew, and the extended family. I hope you find strength and peace in each other and in the lasting legacy of Brian’s kind and well-lived life.
