Cousin Richard It is many years since we met but I well remember when you Sinead and Brian came to Rosendale to stay with your grandmother next door to us on holidays and so many games of Monopoly played. We also put on little dramas for our elders, principally Aunt Eileen.

May I offer my sincerest sympathy to you Orla and your family on Brian’s death.
We were quite close for awhile when he was in Gonzaga and lived on Upper Leeson St and think of him when I take a right from Wellington Place past his home. We lived and I had my office on Wellington Road.
I remember cycling with Brian aged about ten to his relations house out past Rathfarnham in the early spring and playing by a stream and being aware for the first time of the song of a wood pigeon which still reverberates with me to this day …… I still see that stream and the dappled sunshine in my mind eye every time I hear a pigeon, so Brian has remained with me for life and will. May he rest in peace, listening to celestial doves.
