Dear Pat, Michelle, Sarah, Aisling, and Brian,
I have only just learned of Brian's death and am so saddened at your loss.
I have so many fond memories of him and all of you at the KH Swimming
Club. Brian was always such a good person to me and my family, always generous with his time and advice. I shall remember him as indeed all of you in my prayers, wishing your families every success and happiness. Michael.

We all have favorite memories of Brian.
Anthony, of course, was most fortunate to have known Brian the longest, as I grew up around him and was inspired by his easy charm, unparalleled wit, welcoming manner, positive energy, committed husband and father and enthusiasm for so many things like travel, driving, Christmas parties, our social relationships and responsibilities to others less fortunate than ourselves and his being such a decent human being. These are the enduring memories I have of him and he inspired my lengthy social work career as I always remember Brian's presence reminding me that wherever life took me I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN WITH ANYONE, ANYWHERE, AND HAVE A CONVERSATION.
Sadly, we were not able to say goodbye in person but the same charm and inspiringly positive spirit he easily shared with everyone he met will be with me forever.
To my loving sister Pat, and Michelle, Sarah and Aisling our deepest condolences on your loss, it's our loss too.
