It is with great sadness and shock that I learned of Brian's death. A great bowling colleague and friend over the years. I always enjoyed his company and particularly our chats in recent times as my sight no longer allowed me participate as a player. He has surely left his mark on many. Sincere sympathy to his wife and family at this most difficult time. I will keep you all in my thoughts and may Brian rest in eternal peace.

To Rose, Derek, Deborah, Brian, Sandra and Annette Val and I are deeply sorry for your loss as Brian was central to everything that both Mam and Dad enjoyed so much. Dad always said when Brian was organising either Pitch & Put or Dinner dances everything ran spot on and he was at the centre of everything. You all lost a great Husband, Dad and friend today and you will feel it for some time to come but knowing Brian he is probably sitting with Bill drinking Tea and having a catch up. Rose we are so sorry we couldn't be there for you today but we have been thinking back on all the good fun we had with Brian over the years. RIP Bian
