Olivia and all the family: my sincerest condolences to all of you. Brian was a deeply good man. I sat beside him and behind him for some subjects as we were in the same year in Belvo.. What I always remember about meeting with him as a schoolboy outside of class was that he was kind and would listen to you. His suffering is over, may he be at rest and may you all find peace through this time of loss.

As Chairman of The Chartered Association of Building Engineers, Southern Ireland Region, I wish to express condolences to Brian's Family on behalf of the Members and many Friends in the Association on the passing of Brian who was a Quantity Surveying Member of the Association his entire Career.He was also Chairman of the Irish Region for many years and meetings were held in his Offices in Lombard Street.
Brian was a highly respected and professional Quantity Surveyor and greatly enhanced the Association and his Profession during his time in Office and throughout his Career and will be sadly missed by all of us.
