(A certain Goose outside the challet springs to mind.) Your memories must be a 1000 fold. We'll have a good auld get-together soon. Baba was So Proud of You all, You went above & beyond in caring for Her in Her later years.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your lovely granny Aisling, Enda and Marie. Sending lots of love to you all.

I am so sad to hear of Baba's passing. She was a beautiful person and such a wonderful and dedicated teacher. The 'Parlonaigh' still rings in my ears!
She instilled in us great values and beliefs. I recall the weekly reading of 'Courtesy for Boys and Girls' and the litany of prayers every day after lunch.
We loved when she read a paragraph from a book at the end of day. She had a beautiful reading voice. Tráth na gCeist was the highlight on a Friday. Girls against the boys. I think the girls always won! I was blessed to do my home teaching practice with Baba. I found her advice and guidance invaluable.
