She gave me hope of a university education when I had no other support. RIP Bríd, a neighbour and friend of my family from the 1st day my parents moved to the Curragh. Sadly missed by us all. I'd like to extend my deepest condolences to the Daly family on the loss of their aunt.

She encouraged her students to explore the world of Literature and reading in St Joseph’s and helped us get through the state exams successfully.Always had the pleasure of many chats with her and Maureen in Chapel st and she will be sadly missed by her friends in Castlebar.

It is with great shock and sadness that I learned of the passing of Bríd. I offer my sincere condolences to Angela, Bríd and Patrick and the extended family. I extend sympathy to her lifelong friend, Maureen, and to her dear neigbours and friends. Her loyalty to St. Joseph's, her colleagues and students as teacher and deputy principal was indeed remarkable. Bríd enjoyed life and embraced the challenges it presented with great determination. Her energy, kindness and generosity knew no bounds.
