I worked with Brid in HIQA for the past 3 years and met with her every week, and she always spoke so lovingly about Tia and Gerry. Brid was so kind and supportive to me when I started in HIQA and I was adjusting to my new role, and she always gave me great advice. I also saw that kindness in the way she supported our team members, with her amazing talent of explaining how to complete a new process, drafting up templates and documents, to ensure that everyone on our team would be able to follow it. She was so patient and calm, and understood that we are all different, and we all learn differently. Mostly though, I'll miss Brid for the fun we had, as we never had a meeting without a smart comment, a bit of slagging and a laugh. And of course, I'll never forget that beautiful smile. May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Bríd's untimely death. Bríd was such a vibrant lady. I have worked with Bríd since April this year. I found that she was emphatic to colleagues and stakeholders. I am thinking of you all at this difficult time.

It’s difficult to comprehend that Brid has passed. I truly loved working with Brid, she was an absolute lady with a sharp sense of humour, a hearty laugh and always had a great story to share!

It’s fair to say that most conversations I had with Brid she always spoke so fondly and proudly of Gerry and Tia.
Tia, you were the apple of her eye.
