To all the Sheehan and Tierney families, Mrs Sheehan was such a lovely lady and has been a very active person in Saint Patricks Parish forever. She will be missed terribly. She loved her garden and she could keep you chatting for ages at it, insisting on calling her Bríd not Mrs Sheehan. I always came away happy after talking to her because she was a very positive and happy person. Comhbhrón ó chroí ar bhás Bhríd. It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Bríd and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to her dear children, grandchildren and extended family. We know how much you cherished each other.

Bríd was an integral part of the fabric of St Patrick’s and St John’s and contributed so much with her dear husband Jack, to the parishes through the decades.

Our parents Michael & Martha always spoke of Bríd with the highest regard. Her innate kindness, generosity, gentleness and consideration was a blessing to so many.
