So sorry I can't call to give you a hug or chat about Betty , who always had a smile loved a chat and made you feel so welcome when you called. Betty was a wonderful friend and neighbour to my Mum and Dad Chrissie and Tom in no 79 they had great laughs together, and dont forget her famous apple tarts .!
She was dearly loved but will never be forgotten.

Betty was a very special Lady who always made you feel welcome. Always remember Saturday mornings watching football focus and Betty's much loved salad rolls. She was always good to myself and Lisa. It is with great sadness I learn of the death of a very special lady, Betty. May she rest in peace now as she rejoins her beloved Frank.
I have only the fondest memories of Betty and of Frank. They were neighbours and friends of my own deceased parents, Frank and Imelda who lived in no. 80.
Betty and Frank often "rescued" me after late night, making sure I was more "presentable" before returning to no. 80! Both Betty and Frank were "absolute gems" of people. I am saddened at not being able to be physically present for Betty's funeral due to Covid 19, but I will be there "in spirit" and I offer my deepest condolences to Liam, Aedin and Ronan at this very sad time for all the family.
