I worked with Bridget for years in the Thatch in Emly we had some great laughs throughout the years, she would also frequently call to my mother Rita for the chat and with magazines my mother will miss the chats. It was with great sadness and shock that l heard of Bridget sudden passing. She was a delight to meet especially walking up Bridie Kennedy's boreen,always followed by her beloved Tayto.
On one occasion l was walking up this boreen with my granddaughters and even though she hadn't met them for quite a while, she knew their names instantly.
She said I never forget children names, but l may not always remember adults. She had a wonderful affiliation for animals and you never saw a hungry animals
in Duncummin.
May we extend my sincerest sympathies to Bridget's immediate and extended families especially for dear and loyal friends Phil and Willie Joe.
May Bridget now Rest In Eternal Peace and may the heavens be her Eternal Home. Amen.

She loved her style, always had a new outfit if she went on an outing. What wonderful friends, Bridget and Phyl were. Bridget was so wonderful to Phyl especially when she was unwell. They were always together ,such dear friends. May she rest in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Bridget’s passing, she was a huge part of Emly for us growing up in the days of the Thatch. Bridget always stopped to say hello and ask how the kids were, she never forgot their names. She was a really kind hearted person and will be missed.

My dear cousin Bridget was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most caring people that I have been blessed to know my entire life. She never failed to keep in touch through the years, and always visited my Mam (Bridget's Auntie Molly RIP)) in Oldtown whenever she rode by on her bicycle. I was very fortunate to see Bridget when I was home last month, and I will take comfort in the parting hug we shared in Emly. She will be remembered with love always, and I will treasure the memories of her visits to Mama, and her lovely bright smile, and loving disposition. The world needs billions more like her! Rest softly dearest cousin, and know that I will keep you close in thought and prayer always. You brought immense joy and happiness to all who knew you, and all who knew you

Sad to hear of Bridget’s passing. She, her pets and her bicycle are a happy memory from my days living in Duncummin. I always laugh at the images from the ‘photo shoot’ in the buttercups with Willie Joe and Bridget on the day of Aoife’s First Communion! I will treasure all the happy times and memories we shared with Bridget in Duncummin over so many years. Bridget was loving, kind, funny and generous and she made my childhood summers here so happy and fun. That warmth and friendship continued into my adulthood and she always showed such love and kindness to Liam.
