Bridie was not only a dear neighbour and friend to me, but also a mother figure to me. She has always been there for me over the years and also there for my family as the grew up. Kind, caring, generous and a lovely human being who wore her heart on her slieve. Herself and Mick her beloved husband were just really good people. The best neighbours and friends to have living right beside me. They even brought my daughter on holidays to Malta with their family many many years ago . Bridie adored her family and would do anything for them or anyone else who needed help. I will miss her greatly and miss dropping into her to catch up. She was one of a kind, a beautiful person inside and out. May she rest in peace and be reunited with her beloved Mick. Love you always 💕

I had the pleasure of knowing Bridie all my life and she was a dear neighbour and close friend of my family. She was very good to us all grown up and I always remember her as the woman who you went to to get a mass card on the road. She was an absolute lady. A lovely, loyal and kind neighbour. She is reunited with her beloved husband Mick. Watch over your family during this sad and difficult time. I can’t imagine Lismore Road without Bridie living a few doors away! May Bridie rest in peace 🤍
