Bridie was a frequent visitor in our house and through Mam we got to know her well. She was a very independent person, full of good humour and a woman of strong faith.

Our lasting memory will be of her praying the rosary with Mam and afterwards probably singing My Irish Molly in the kitchen and enjoying the chat with a drop of whiskey.
