You welcomed me into your house with open arms when I first came to Annacurra and needed a place to stay.
Bridget was such a kind and gentle lady who made me feel at home straight way. I will always have special and fond memories of her.

It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Bridget yesterday. Our heartfelt sympathy to Pat and extended Carty family. Pat and Bridget were great friends of ours when we lived in Dublin in the late seventies. We moved back to Tipp in 1983 but always kept in contact. When Pat and Bridget visited Tipp to see Pats family they always called to see us. When they moved to Preban when Bridgets brother passed away we felt we knew the Carty family. Bridget always spoke so lovingly about ye all and was so proud of how ye all did well in life. We visited their home in Preban last year and had a lovely day with them both. Bridget told us she has a niece a guard in Templemore. We would love to make contact with her if possible. May Bridgets gentle soul rest in peace.
