JJ, I just learned of your mother’s passing, a sad time no doubt for you and yours, having been with you for so long, a blessing in itself. I only met her briefly a couple of times when she struck me as a woman of character. I suspect you all have wonderful memories of her which I hope you can enjoy while missing her too. If there is such a thing as “looking beautiful in death” your Mum is it, she was my wee Maureen Potter, and I adored her and your Dad with his lovely special individual character. Your Mum was fabulous, hilarious & would have bought & sold you, such was her “life knowledge”.
I would only say to you all, please don’t be sad that she’s gone, but be grateful that you had her for so long, she was a wee gem💝 and beautiful memories last a lifetime and youse have that in spades from your Mum & Dad, how lucky are youse xx

Condolences to you all on the passing of the force of nature that was Auntie Bridie.
She was made of strong Mooney stuff! I always had such fun with her when we met at family gatherings.
My best memory is her dancing to Dancing Queen at A 60th a couple of weeks after a hip replacement... that’s who she was!
She will never be forgotten x
