So sad to hear of Bridget’s passing - she was such a part of our childhood. Papers, magazines and their arrival made every week a collection of happy deadlines. I’d often be there with her in Nellie Walsh’s to meet the delivery and get my comics, Shoot, the local papers, the fresh smell of the ink mixed up with shelves of wool and thread and bits and bobs. May she rest in peace - a true part of Ballinrobe history.

Deepest Sympathy to Bridgets Sister Margaret, brother-in-law,sisters in-law,nephews,nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Bridget was always so welcoming in her shop that had everything sweets,chocolates,newspapers,magazines,school supplies and wool and clothes. I say every kid in the Parish of Ballinrobe and surrounding areas knew Bridget. Bridget was a great baker and had great tips which she gave freely. Bridget will never been forgotten.
