Dear Bridget,

I was shocked and saddened to hear the news of your passing from Anthony in the little charity shop.
You were always like a bright light of good nature whenever you volunteered there. Caring and generous and always worried about David's condition with his fight against illness. You were one of those people that's getting rarer anymore... a kind, generous person, who calls things as they are, sometimes raw, but always true, but your kindness towards others and generosity of spirit, even when your own lot was heavy, was always on display from the warmth that resonated from you.

You were a great mother, and it brought out the strength in you on many occasions and I hope that you sleep easy having had a hard run of it sometimes. It's sad that we'll never have some throwaway banter anymore, but I can assure you that your memory, idiosyncratic ways and lively banter will come up when I speak of your memory with Anthony long into the future.

Rest Easy now, as you've earned it & condolences to your grieving and broken hearted family at this time.
