My deepest condolences on the death of Bridget. It so nice to meet her at bridge on Thursday evenings - She was such a positive lady. But , I used to enjoy our chats when on a summer’s day Bridget used to sit outside the Ulster Bank - and enjoy talking about her age and how she was so proud of her family but SHE wanted to live independently!

We are so sad to hear about your Mum’s passing.

Bridie had a great presence around Malahide, and her exuberance and energy even in her latter years was commendable.

It would have been so nice had she been able to reach her milestone 100th birthday, but to reach 99 is a milestone in itself, and a wonderful achievement .

Although, the void will be hard to fill, it is comforting to know, that she is now reunited with her late husband Paddy, and her amazing son Niall, who sadly passed away in 2014.

The wonderful and treasured memories you all have, will help to keep your Mum alive in all your hearts.

George Elliot once said:
“Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them”.

Rest assured, your Mum will never be forgotten.
